- Supports the scuttlePLUS bookmarking format: This an advanced, customized version of the Scuttle platform. You can bookmark to any site that runs scuttlePLUS (provided they allow you to do so).
- Detailed Posting Reports: When you have lots of websites that are automatically being bookmarked, it is important for you to know exactly what is going on. RSS Bookmarker provides detailed reports for each project. You can see the entire history of a specific website RSS feed or project. The reports tell you when a page was bookmarked, where it was bookmarked and what tags were used.

No, RSS Bookmarker is a PHP script that runs on your server! This is the ideal solution for fast, scalable tools.
To how many bookmarking sites is RSS Bookmarker able to bookmark?
Good question! Our objective is for RSS Bookmarker to bookmark to over 30 bookmarking sites. However the exact number is a moving target. Why? Because most bookmarking sites are updating their login/posting process on a regular basis. Also, new bookmarking sites are coming online, while older ones are going off line. And keeping up with these changes is a hard (coding and testing) work! Because of this ongoing process, it may happen that RSS Bookmarker is unable to post to several bookmarking sites listed in our plugin. This is why we try to update the RSS Bookmarker code on a regular basis. We cannot however guarantee that, at any point in time all the bookmarking sites listed in our documentation and/or our website will have a ‘working’ status. There could be and there will be some posting errors. While we use reasonable efforts to update the list of bookmarking sites, we are not committed to a minimum number of bookmarking sites and/or to any specific bookmarking sites. You are welcome to signal to us any such posting errors you may encounter when using RSS Bookmarker.
RSS Bookmarker and Auto Social Poster are both social bookmarking submitter. As such, they share the same ‘bookmarking technology’, i.e. they support the same BM sites. There are two major differences. First difference is that RSS Bookmarker is a script whereas Auto Social Bookmarker is Wordpress or a Joomla plugin. Second difference is that RSS Bookmarking will bookmark ANY website that has an RSS feed, whereas
Auto Social Poster focuses on bookmarking Wordpress posts or Joomla articles.

Version 1.3 of the RSS Bookmarker automated bookmarking software is now available.
This version fixes some issues with importing and problems posting to some bookmarking sites. It also adds a couple of new features.
NEW FEATURES
* De/Select All, Delete Selected: These options were added to assist you in deleting large numbers of projects or accounts faster.
* Auto Re-Activate: This is a new option that allows your project to automatically re-activate itself once it completes.
Normally, once all items in a feed are bookmarked, the project will be marked as completed and no further bookmarks will be posted for that project.
Now, if you use the re-activate option, once the project completes, RSS Bookmarker will automatically re-activate the project, grab NEW items from each feed in the project and continue bookmarking the project feeds.
This option is only needed if your feeds are updated regularly. Such as a blog feed that is very active. If you have a static feed or one that is not updated do not use this option. If you do, once the script tries to re-activate the project no new feed items will be found and so nothing will happen.
This option will NOT re-bookmark already bookmarked items.
UPGRADING
Existing users should download the updated files and upload them to your /bookmarking/ installation folder, then run the settingupdate.php.
New users should just download the latest install files from the member’s area.

I hope to have an update for the Auto Social Poster Wordpress plugin out very soon. This update will fix some annoying incompatibility bugs with certain installs of Wordpress and also fix posting problems with a few bookmarking sites.

Shortly I will be compiling a network of scuttlePLUS users who wish to share or trade bookmarking site resources. Basically they give you a bookmarking account on their site, if you give them an account on your site. This helps everyone to allowing you to bookmark your site on a wider, more diverse network of IPs instead of just your own.
scuttlePLUS is perfect for this because it allows you to set pre-set limits for each user so you won’t have to worry about others draining your server resources. You set whatever limit is comfortable for you.
When this launches it will be available to all scuttlePLUS social bookmarking software users.

I have just released an update to the Auto Social Poster plugin. This release fixes bugs related to posting and CRON. It also fixes some minor plugin incompatibilities.
I have also disabled posting to reddit.com due to a change in their posting methods. BUT I have added 3 new bookmarking sites:

To install, just overwrite all files on your server with the new files, EXCEPT the mm_conf.php file. This file contains your current configuration, so you don’t overwrite it. Otherwise you will have to enter your bookmarking login information again!
